It's Happening Again...

Intellectuals and bureau-planners are having a difficult time imposing their usual schemes and follies (imposing conformity of thought and lifestyle). Free individuals acting in consort with like-minded others are resisting "the revolution" again. The yellow-stream media, academia, education, and "entertainment" are rallying the forces but....

Real revolutionaries don't sit down and shutup.

Compassion carved in stone

The thing about the state is that, it's so difficult to determine which marble building facade' cares about you most.

note: as stated here many times before, once again, I'm not going to be posting for quite some time. Of course, I've said that before and may make an occasional note or post to what I think to be a noteworthy link but, for now...outta here.

Do have a look at some earlier postings. I haven't fully compiled all of my "Big Rants" -- topical essays -- yet (in the side bar), but over the years I've accumulated a lot of my personal complaint with the nonsense that perpetually eminates from intellectuals, journalists, academics, and other assorted scoundrels who think "their shit don't stink" and everyone but themsleves should be relegated to the status of servitude to collectivist visions of obedience. Freedom is not the "right" to enslave another, whether that other be a middle-class shopkeeper or a wealthy doctor. Freedom is the right to be left alone to choose one's own path. When that path is obstructed by idiots, clowns, or control freak demogogues, people who can see the writing on the wall need to act or at least be aware enough to resist perrenial attempts to impose conformity.
May the bureaustate and its minions perish.

Just Don't Call Them Communists...

...or communist sympathizers. It needs to be noted as a reminder to the more delusional out there; Communism is a ruthless, violent, one-party, coercive philosophy of government responsible for the enslavement and death of over 100,000,000 people in the last century alone.

Thomas Friedman of the New York Times recently had this to say:

"One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages. That one party can just impose the politically difficult but critically important policies needed to move a society forward in the 21st century."

...another rich arrogant elitist and authoritarian sympathizing...asshole.

Does this clown really think that the style of government he praises would have any room for a wealthy "pundit" like himself.

Sooooo pathetic. Seems that film-making and journalism is in close competition as to who can be the most ridiculous.

Important, Insightful, Informative, and Scary...

(I know I stated that I'd be away from computer-land activity for some time but I couldn't resist posting this link)

Mark Steyn is brilliant. I'm quite certain that most leftist/"progressives" must thoroughly hate him (I've noted more than once that there is one thing a leftist hates more than a capitalist, it's an articulate, intelligent spokesperson for the "working class" worldview).

Anyway, this piece by Steyn is very informative and ...scary.
